Bio

Bob Stevens is an old time musician who lives with his wife, Judy, on a Century Farm, which his grandfather and great-grandfather homesteaded in 1904. He plays fiddle, guitar, mandolin, and stand-up bass. Stevens used to play for the local dances in Hardman, back when Hardman was a town that still had a thriving population and a post office. He says the bass is the most fun to play because it’s the least work. He has a large repertoire of old tunes once played for local dances, and he plays regularly with the Oregon Old-Time Fiddlers. Stevens, who learned to play fiddle from his father, is also quite a raconteur.
