Partners & Network

The Oregon Folklife Network (OFN) is a network of statewide culture and heritage partners who operate on state, regional, county, and community levels, whose hub is based at the University of Oregon.  The collaborative structure of the OFN is innovative because rather than centralizing public folklore programming in one organization, the OFN serves as a hub that facilitates partnerships across the state between universities, state agencies, non-profit organizations, cultural associations, and members of diverse communities.  Individuals and groups across the state interested in initiating folklore related projects can work within the auspices of the network drawing from the strengths and stakeholders across the state, including financial and material resources, technical expertise, and audience networks.
