OFN encourages faculty and staff to contact OFN about research project ideas, programs, projects, collaborative teaching or services that focus on Oregon’s folk and traditional arts, communities, tradition keepers, heritage, k-12 or lifelong education, cultural heritage tourism, or any of the range of folklore genres (e.g., performance, material culture, foodways, built environment, occupational lore, etc.) or culture groups (First Nations, new refugees, occupational groups, etc.). We welcome researchers to make use of our archives, which includes records from the Oregon Folklife Program as well as from OFN's ongoing statewide folklife survey of Oregon's cultural heritage.
